There are two types of digital portraits - Artist created and shop created.
Be careful who you commission to paint your digital painting
There are real portrait artists that hand paint the digital painting and then their are “shops” without traditional artists who have not ever painted a traditional painting whether it be in watercolor or oil, who just apply “filters” to a photograph and call it a painting. By the way these shops usually charge you for any custom work such as taking out the background or applying different styles.
Real digital artists work with a pen and tablet and “paint” by hand each stroke. This is the way I work. I do not charge extra for taking out the background or people or other animals that you do not want in the final portrait.
This is all included in my pet portraits price. The unwanted background is taken out so that I can place a nice colored background. Let me know if you are partial to a certain color so I can put that into the portrait.
Many people want the colors to match their decorating scheme in their home.
Collars and bandanna colors can be changed.
Please tell me your preference when you write so I can have it in mind while I am painting your pet portraits.
